Day 4 - Berries

Cotoneaster. No it;s not a disease, it's a bush, a bee-magnet of a bush at that

I tried a few different shots but I rather liked the simplicity of this without much colour,  reflecting the bleakness of winter :)

  2. although I'm sure the red berries against that wintery sky would have looked gorgeous, the black silhouette type of image works. Good on you! :-)

  3. Awesome silhouette. For me silhouettes often look like exposure setting cock-ups, but the composition and lighting on this obviously took some time and planning, both of which paid off, well done.

  4. Very bleak and a lovely silhouette that still manages to hold the beautiful tones and gradients in the sky. The diagonal composition works very well too.

  5. The exposed berries' shapes really make this image of lines and circles into a very graphic art piece...almost like a block print or similar. Nice find!

  7. They are obviously berries and the way you framed the shot gives it extra impact.
