Day 19 - Eye

Here's lookin' at you, kid.
Yes, this is my daughter's eye. She has an interesting one - she does have two, but one is more interesting than the other - with little flecks of brown on one side.
It's funny how the hole in your eye doesn't actually look like a hole until you see it close up.

  1. wow! Gorgeous eye! In fact, because this color patch is just in one eye, it will always attract more attention and people will be a bit mesmerized by it. Just the how we don't actually see the hole, I like how when I look at my cat's eye from the side, you see a huge ball of nothing... that you can see through... and then the iris back further. It is really cool!

  2. Oh Morpy, I love this one. The eye as the window to the soul is soooo evident here. I think the huge pupil does the trick!. Good job to you and one of your kids/models!!

  3. Fabulous eye. So crisp and sharp and lovely and closeup! The colour patch looks great and the way you have positioned it in the composition gives it great impact. Nice work!

  4. Terrific shot! Again, the vast black hole...the window to the soul. And such a gorgeous eye, with its unique coloring! Is this 'snowball girl' ?

  5. Wow, this is great! As mentioned above, the large pupil draws us in. It reminds me of deep space with the stars, nebula's and mystery.

  6. Beautiful eye but thinking of the pupil as a hole makes looking at an eye a bit creepy.
