Backlighting
You wouldn't believe what I used to make this shot...
...Toilet Cleaner :D
I got some other good (similar)shots which I'll add when I get a few minutes
Edited to add that everything is as shot with just a slight saturation increase,a few cloned bubbles to fill a gap in the big clump of bubbles and the background cleaned up a bit
Alternates:
Whatever works to get the picture taken.
ReplyDeleteVery well taken and great lighting.
I do like these very much.
Very nice action shots, and I do like that first alternative. Fantastic timing and the bright saturated colours look lovely!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots all three of them.
ReplyDeleteThose are so cool looking! It's like jellyfish or something.
ReplyDeleteCool! What kind of container did you use for this shot? I was thinking of something simliar for my marbles and then I see you just did this and wanted to find out how :D
ReplyDeleteI guessthe toiletcleaner fluid works so well because it's thicker than ink. I like the bright greens.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I love the shot, I'm guessing your monitor is a bit bright as I can see your cleaning up of the background and the bits you missed. I would suggest that you put a layer above your image (only temporarily) and lower the exposure. It will allow you to see the marks you left behind. Once you have cleaned them up to a perfect white, then you can delete the adjustment layer. Good luck
ReplyDeleteWow - what a neat shot! Great job!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great shot, my favorite! Toilet cleaner.... who'd a thunk?
ReplyDeleteWow this is awesome! And I love the top alternate take too - that big blob "plopping" through the bubbles is great!
ReplyDeleteAnd I though wow what a clean toilet bowl he has, hahaha

How long did you have to hold your breath under water in your toilet to get those shots? :D
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work I love them all!
