Day 20

Converging Parallellerellals...you know what what I mean - train tracks. I have honestly been looking for anything but this cliche but everything is curvy in this part of the world (Don't even go there!), so I had to settle for your bog standard 4' 8.5" gauge track (that's 1435mm for you imperially-challenged folks)

In answer to Andromeda's query on the garden table(Day 17) - yes it is straight. As Eury says it's an optical illusion (cough...which I obviously planned into the shot...)

  2. Cliche's only become cliche's because they're so visually appealing that everyone want to shoot them :-) So it's cool!!

It's a beautiful shot! I like the sortof "looking down on the tracks" feel...

  3. What UB said ^^

Cliche's are what they are cos they are cool! I think having two tracks there elevates this a little above the norm of cliches though! Good job.

  4. Oh, double tracks are very cool. Personally I think I would crop out the sky at the top.. makes it a bit more abstracty. Still, very cool piece!

  5. I like it with the sky in there, and might like to see even more. That proves this is art! Different opinions. :)

I haven't done converging parallels yet because all I can think of is train tracks or a road. I know -- this is Texas. I should be able to find some wagon tracks, right? ;)

  6. I'm sure the table is straight but my eyes still don't believe you :-)

I like todays shot, cliche or not.

  7. If you get down closer to the ground they converge even faster. Just sayin...
