Day 15 - Piping Hot!

Believe it or not, there is no glass in this shot. It's a (macro of a) copper pipe joint - a T-piece. The light is coming in from the side and reflecting inside giving the strange looking glass effect! And no, there's no water in it either.

  1. Oh, yes, I can see how that has happened, and it looks awesome! What a fabulous effect and beautiful graduations of line and colour. And the crispness of the edge of the pipe looks great! Awesome!

  2. Thanks so much for explaining this excellent photo. Interesting lighting and the sharp rim emphasises the 'smooth' centre.

  3. Oooooo.... I would put this on the wall in the garage. And that's a compliment. T treats it like another family room... that just happens to have a car & tools in it. And since he's a refrigeration tech, he knows copper piping all too well.

  4. The copper light coming through looks like molten metal. Such interesting. Good shot! Eury
