Day 8

Backlighting

You wouldn't believe what I used to make this shot...

...Toilet Cleaner :D
I got some other good (similar)shots which I'll add when I get a few minutes

Edited to add that everything is as shot with just a slight saturation increase,a few cloned bubbles to fill a gap in the big clump of bubbles and the background cleaned up a bit

Alternates:

  2. Very nice action shots, and I do like that first alternative. Fantastic timing and the bright saturated colours look lovely!

  5. Cool! What kind of container did you use for this shot? I was thinking of something simliar for my marbles and then I see you just did this and wanted to find out how :D

  6. I guessthe toiletcleaner fluid works so well because it's thicker than ink. I like the bright greens.

  7. Although I love the shot, I'm guessing your monitor is a bit bright as I can see your cleaning up of the background and the bits you missed. I would suggest that you put a layer above your image (only temporarily) and lower the exposure. It will allow you to see the marks you left behind. Once you have cleaned them up to a perfect white, then you can delete the adjustment layer. Good luck

  12. How long did you have to hold your breath under water in your toilet to get those shots? :D
