Day 17

On the Diagonal

A wooden garden table is the victim for today's technique

  1. There's beautiful warm light on this one and the composition with the diagonals and strong horizontal top area is very cool. Great design shot!

  4. I agree. The warm light is very nice and the diagonal along with the one across makes a great design.

  5. I'm sure it is straight, but my brain keeps telling me it's not completely horizontal.

    A nice eye catching shot.

  7. You treated your victim well, such nice warm tones. I understand what andromeda is saying about the straightness, but I believe it's an optical illusion because of the grain on the wood. Nicely done. I like it, it's got good and balanced composition and is very graphically sound. Well done!

  8. It didn't look crooked to me until I read the comments, and then it started looking crooked. I pulled out my trusty ruler and measured, and it's quite level! Great job.
