Day 4

For today's offering I give you 'Kids'
I ended up compositing this one and cleaning up the background. As I mentioned earlier I'm down to one flash at the moment and couldn't blow out the background.

  1. Cleaning up the backgrounds is always a necessity for me, and sometimes quite extensively if I want a very clean white background, as I don't have enough lights in my house to get a pure white one. Am working on it though!
I love the expressions, and especially on the face of the one in the middle. This is an excellent depiction of expected growth. Very well done!

  2. Love the three sizes of girls, and their expressions, and eye positions, are just wonderful! Great shot!

  4. Awesomeness! The concept of showing them all partially really makes this portrait anything but boring! Great stuff!

  5. Amazing what a partial face can say...and of course those eyes (glad you didn't make the middle one go cross eyed)!

  6. This is so cute, I love the half faces and the way they are all looking at each other.

  8. Love this one!!! The different heights, the expressions, and the fact that none of them are fully in the frame, makes for a super cool pic! Well done!

  10. Creative cropping at its best! What a fun and quirky shot.

  11. I love this shot and can't believe I am only commenting on it now (me bad).

The composition and facial expressions are anything but ordinary. One to blow up and put on the wall!
