For those who don't know these nuts have castellations in them to allow the insertion of a split pin so that the nut cannot unscrew itself by vibrations.
OK, I have never heard of castellations, or seen nuts that are like that, but I have to say that I would be devastated if that happened to anyone in my family! Love that big ominous shadow! Looks like a mouth!
I like the texture of the background and that interesting shadow. I kind of wish the shadow had a tiny bit more breathing space... is a mouth after all! :-D Eury
